Freedom PTA Fun Run!

Freedom Elementary Families!

Our highly anticipated Fun Run will be happening Thursday, September 9, 2021.

Run Times:
9:30am-10:15am: PK & K
10:15am-11:00am: 1st & 2nd
11:00am-11:45am: 3rd, 4th, & 5th

Kids should dress comfortably and appropriately for the run.
Adults will not be running but are welcome to cheer the kids on. However please note:
Parking and parent viewing area is limited so please only stay during your child's scheduled run time.

The Fun Run will be set up on the grass area next to (east of) the upper parking lot. You can’t miss it from the car line.

There will be 4 tracks and each grade is assigned their own track. The tracks are about 180 ft. in length so if kids run the full 30-35 laps, it’s a little more than a mile.

Kids are not required to run all 30 laps.

Please send your student to school with a water bottle and sack lunch on event day.
The cafeteria will also be providing sack lunches that day.

Water tables will be set-up for students to set their water bottles down during the run.
Students may stop at the table anytime during their run time to hydrate.

In the event of inclement weather, the Fun Run will be moved INDOORS. We will be monitoring the weather and will update everyone of any changes.

Please also note: If the event has to be moved indoors to the school gyms, unfortunately, we will not be able to allow spectators into the building due to safety precautions. However, we will do our best to go live regardless of whether the event is indoor or outdoor - it really depends on cell phone signal strength.
