MCEC Parent Support Workshop

Freedom Elementary is teaming up with MCEC to provide parents with a FREE parent support workshop on Wednesday, November 3rd at 12pm. Join us in person in the school’s library or virtually through the Zoom link provided below.

If you’re joining us in person, you can also shop the school’s book fair before or after the workshop. Feel free to bring your own lunch to enjoy during the workshop. The workshop should take about 30 minutes to no longer than an hour (depending on how many questions parents may have afterwards).

Workshop Topic: Transitions - What Every Parent Needs To Know

\r\n

This workshop describes the social-emotional as well as the educational transition challenges that military-connected children may face. It shares tips and strategies to help parents in creating a smooth transition for their children at the elementary and middle school grade levels. It also discusses the Academic Portfolio and SchoolQuest.
